Revelation Of Grace (Devotional)

It is through revelation of Jesus’ love for us and grace that we are set free from falling back into the sin pattern that once entrapped us.
The devil & this world points fingers at sin and breeds condemnation.
While correction is necessary & biblical. We must correct in love by rooting out lies and planting the truth; Which results in exhortation that blossoms to being zealous for God & good works he planned long ago.
Let us, as the church, be the one’s to teach the truth that sets people free. If we are going to point to anything, let us be the one’s who point to the cross, the truth that sets people free.

Now, there is no comparison between Adam’s transgression and the gracious gift that we experience. For the magnitude of the gift far outweighs the crime . It’s true that many died because of one man’s transgression, but how much greater will God’s grace and his gracious gift of acceptance overflow to many because of what one Man, Jesus, the Messiah, did for us!
Romans 5:15 TPT

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,  instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. He gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people for his own possession, eager to do good works.  Proclaim these things; encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
Titus 2:11‭-‬15 CSB

No matter who you are, before you judge the wickedness of others, you had better remember this: you are also without excuse, for you too are guilty of the same kind of things! When you judge others, and then do the same things they do, you condemn yourself. We know that God’s judgment falls upon those who practice these things. God is always right, because he has all the facts. And no matter who you think you are, when you judge others who do these things and then do the same things yourself, what makes you think that you will escape God’s judgment? Do the riches of his extraordinary kindness make you take him for granted and despise him? Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding he has been to you? Don’t mistake his tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of his extravagant kindness is meant to melt your heart and lead you into repentance?
Romans 2:1‭-‬4 TPT

Make sure that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up, causing trouble and defiling many.
Hebrews 12:15 CSB

“Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged. For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use. Why do you look at the splinter in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the beam of wood in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the splinter out of your eye,’ and look, there’s a beam of wood in your own eye? Hypocrite! First take the beam of wood out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the splinter out of your brother’s eye.
Matthew 7:1‭-‬5 CSB

Sadly Mistaken: The Truth About God’s Love Despite Our Mess

We make mistakes, every single one of us. Sometimes, we even chose to do the wrong thing and feel regret later. I’ve done the wrong thing more than I am happy to say. What does God have to say about these mistakes?

Oftentimes, we feel the pain of our decisions later. It could be instant, hours, days, or even years. But no matter the mistake or decisions that I have made, Jesus met me with his grace.

“Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.”
Psalms 37:24 NLT

We serve a God who loves unconditionally because that is who he is, love. He does not base his love upon how many times we have missed the mark or how many times we have done something amazing for the Kingdom. He just loves us because he is love.

One of the biggest truths that has been revealed to me is that nothing is too big for grace or mercy. No mistake or chosen wrongful action can outweigh the decision he made for us over 2000 years ago on that cross. When we had nothing to give, he still chose us. He loves us that much.

Do not hold yourself to contempt when Jesus calls you forgiven. The enemy loves to try to keep us tied down in the lies of failure, fear, and condemnation. But the beautiful thing is that everytime the devil feeds us a lie, Jesus died to reveal the truth and set us free.

Today, you and I stand together not wound up in past regret and condemnation or worry about the time we have missed the mark. We kneel together before the cross thankful for Jesus who has set us free and is working everything out for our good. We praise together his Holy Name in thankfulness that his love is not based upon performance but based upon who he is, love. Nothing can separate us from his love. Nothing.

Grace Abounds Devotion

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:20‭-‬21 NKJV

It is so important when we are viewing ourselves and others that we remember that grace and mercy are purely gifts given unto to us through the love of God💜
When you specifically study the life of Saul before he was Paul, his sin was great. However, we know that Saul’s heart was transformed and he is now known as Paul.
The love of God and grace and mercy of Jesus Christ has the power to transform our mistakes and past sins into a testimony for HIS glory👌
His love has no bounds🙌
We are to remember that where sin abounds, so does grace👏
&
We are all in need if his saving grace!

Shame & Fear Turned Into Freedom

Shame & Fear have no hold on me when I walk in the freedom Jesus died to give me-SpeakLife.ABlog

Your past mistakes do not define you.

I repeat, your past does not define you.

You know where your identity is found?

In Jesus Christ.

The enemy loves to attack our identity to put us in a spot of shame and paralyze us in fear. When you are fully pursuing God’s will of course he is going to attack you. You are changing the world and building the kingdom of heaven. You are entering what used to be his territory and saving lives and making an eternal impact.

We all make mistakes and we all have sinned. Some of us may even sinned this morning. But you know what holds true and steadfast through that? God & his promises.

His love never wavers.

You are forgiven.

You are his beloved child.

&

His promises will always remain the same.

The enemy doesn’t want you to get free, he wants to tie you down in condemnation and shame… He wants you to hold onto the sin you committed and stay there. He definetly does not want you to confess, repent, and walk in freedom. When we know we are forgiven we can continue to pursue our God given purpose.

Is there something that you are holding onto today? Something that Jesus is waiting for you to lay at his feet so you can finally walk in freedom?

There are times when we need to ask God to help us leave the past where it belongs, IN THE PAST. If you are struggling with something specific, remember where God has brought you from to where you are now. He is faithful, his love is relentless, and there is nothing he can’t do.

You are forgiven.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”-1 John 1:9 (NIV)

Let go of your past, it doesn’t define you.

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”-Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV)

Your identity is found in Jesus.

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-“-John 1:12 (NIV)

The old you has passed away. You are a new creation.

“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”-2 Corinthians 5:14-21 (NIV)
