This Is Your Sign To Not Give Up

In the moments you feel like giving up, ask God for strength to get you through. With the tears strolling down your face ask him to meet you there and surround you with reminders through his word of how much he cares. I can assure you he will meet you there, reminding you, his precious child of how much he loves you. Cast your cares upon him, allowing him to heal the hurt, and be surrounded by his love and inexhaustible peace. The only way we go out defeated is if we give up. Our God does the impossible. He is the one who never breaks a promise. In the waiting, just as this Psalm states intertwine yourself as one with God. After all, those who have their minds fixed on him will be in perfect peace.

Our God is faithful. Don’t lose hope in the waiting. Just draw a little closer to his heart instead.

God’s Constant Love (Devotional)

There was a time where I could not even see past the next hour. I was crippled in suicidal thoughts, anxiety, pain from abuse and trauma, and addiction. Entrapped in the condemnation from my own poor choices.
But when I called on HIS name, the name above ALL names, everything began to change! 👏💜🙌
Everytime I call out for him, he rescues me💜
There has never been a time where he has left me or forsaken me👏
Glory be to God for freeing me from what held me down, snapping every chain, and bringing me into complete freedom through his son Jesus Christ! 🙌
▪️I am healed, whole, and free.
▪️I am his beloved, his masterpiece, annointed and appointed.
▪️I am a child of God.

Mocked, Cursed, Disgraced By Man, But Still Beloved (Devotion)

There has never been a moment that I have regretted giving my life to Jesus.
NEVER.
I have lost friends, family has become distant, strangers have insulted me, and even those in the house of faith there are those who do not understand me.
No matter the circumstance, words that were spoken to me, some words that were never spoken at all (silence never explained), God has given me his heavenly peace.
Worldly insults may build. But, I am wrapped in Abba’s heavenly love.
Even if you are surrounded right now with what seems like darkness, the Lord is a light for you.
Even if everyone has left you, your heavenly father never will.
He hears your cry for help and is responding.
He knowns the tears you’ve cried, he has kept them in a bottle for the day of his judgment.
He wants to exchange what you’ve been feeling from all the rejection for his complete and total acceptance.
There is nothing like the Love of God.

Despite The Critics

Do what God has called you to do, despite the critics.

There will be plenty of people who don’t understand why you are doing the things you are doing. There will also be many people who don’t understand the steps you are taking. Things may seem backwards and out of order to them.

But, my question for you is…are you being obedient to what God has called you to do in the order he called you to do them?

In reality, other people’s opinions should not matter. Unless you are getting advice from an elder or someone wise and mature in faith. You won’t be giving an account for if you did things their way. However, you will be held accountable on what you have done with what God has asked of you.

So why do we feel this desire to please people? Is it that we are placing our worth in their hands rather than the Lord’s? I believe that when we solely focus on Jesus. Our eyes are only narrowed in on being obedient to what HE has called us to do, we can’t focus on the opinions of others. We are too busy focused on his steps, his will, his way.

God has made us individuals for a reason. No one’s relationship with him is the same. So, maybe you don’t understand why people are doing things a certain way…But, just maybe, that is what God called them to do.

The way God does things is much different than the way the world does things. It seems foreign, strange, and out of order for those looking in. However, if God has called you to do it and is leading you. The rest does not matter.
Let’s put aside being a people pleaser and chase fearlessly after what God has called us to do. Despite the critics. I think God being our biggest cheerleader outweighs them anyway.

“For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.” -Galatians 1:10 CSB

“We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! Up to the present hour we are both hungry and thirsty; we are poorly clothed, roughly treated, homeless; we labor, working with our own hands. When we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we entreat. We are, even now, like the world’s garbage, like the filth of all things.” -1 Corinthians 4:10-13 CSB

“Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.” -Colossians 3:2 CSB

Instead, just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please people, but rather God, who examines our hearts. -1 Thessalonians 2:4 CSB

(I know I have been writing on this a lot lately. But I hope as God is working on my heart, he is working on yours too!)

Waiting On The Promise

88966-David-Jeremiah-Quote-Faith-is-the-solid-unshakable-confidence-in

This morning the Lord brought me to the Book of Luke. He began speaking to me about the position of the heart of Mary. He touched on how she was prophesied by an angel, even though she was a virgin and how she was going to birth the Son of God.

Holy smokes.
Can we just stop right here for a moment and reflect?

Joseph and Mary were only engaged and to be married. She would’ve been casted out by society and looked at as a disgrace in these days. Yet, the angel was telling her she had found favor from the Lord.

This perfectly displays just how different and much higher God’s thoughts are in comparison to ours.

The question I have for you this morning is…

Collage 2018-12-26 05_37_27.jpg

When was the last time God has spoken to you something that seemed impossible, yet he still promised it to be done? Does the meditation of your heart and your confession match the things that he has spoken?

Mary had to live and confess by faith. As do we when we are promised something that seems impossible. Remember what was spoken. Nothing is impossible with God.
Do not be discouraged, do not fear. God is not a man that he could lie. If he has spoken it, he will fulfill it.

Even if the world is trying discourage you because it does not make sense…

Know that God is on your side and working on your behalf. There is nothing he will not do for you.

Let your heart meditate on the promises he has spoken and let your confession be one of faith.

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” -Luke 1:37 NKJV

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” -Luke 1:45 NKJV

“God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” -Numbers 23:19 NKJV

(If this spoke to you, may the Lord give you encouragement through the first two Chapters in Luke as he did to me this morning. I am praying on your behalf and  standing in faith with you. Remember, God will always come through. He is faithful and true.)
