Bringing Heaven To Earth -Binding And Loosing (Video)

Bringing Heaven To Earth (Binding & Loosing)

🗝“But you,” he asked them, “who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus responded, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:15‭-‬19 CSB
🗝Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Isaiah 56:7 NKJV
🗝He was afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! This is none other than the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.” This stone that I have set up as a marker will be God’s house, and I will give to you a tenth of all that you give me.”
Genesis 28:17‭, ‬22 CSB

The Reality Of Sonship

The only limits we have are the one’s we have accepted and God did not put them there. God, the one who spoke light and life into existence. The one who made the heaven’s and the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th. We have access to the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead on that 3rd day. Why are we as his children not walking in this same power?

I believe the root of this problem is a misunderstanding of our identity. As we look at the life of Jesus, we can see that the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness with “if you are the Son of God…” (Matthew 4:3). Why did satan attack Jesus here first? If he could make Jesus fall into the deception of being from this earth rather than seated in heavenly places, it would hinder him from walking out what God had commanded of him. A misunderstanding of your identity as a new creation in Christ will have you blending in with the rest of the world rather than slaying the giants in front of you. We must have a revelation of who we are as new creations. We must ask and receive truth about our new identity as a Child of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the authority that comes from being seated in heavenly places. When we do not understand these fundamentals, we blend in rather than stand out. You are bright light that was never meant to be hidden. Rather, God wants his light to shine through you for all the world to see.

Placed in heaven, we have the upper hand. What Jesus died to do was not only free us from our sin, heal us and make us whole, but adopt us as his children. God no longer looks at as servants but as son’s and daughter’s! We are more than conquerors, victorious, and triumphant as we trust in his promises. We are co-heirs of Christ! Another word for coheir is joint heir. Which means you are a person who has received and inheritance from Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross and you made him the Lord of your life, you were given that same power and same authority. You are no longer a citizen of earth, but a citizen of heaven. The evidence of this is the Holy Spirit. Therefore, sickness and disease, lack of provision, and satan himself is all beneath you. No wonder why the Lord encouraged with John 16:33!

Do you have the heavenly perspective of being a Child of God and a coheir of Christ? God did not send us the spirit of God with limits. He sent his spirit without measure (John 3:34). God desires us to walk in the same power Jesus did. In fact, he desires us to do even greater works (John 14:12-14). We have been told many opinions of who we are and what we can do (especially from the world around us). However, opinions are just earthly views. What God has spoken is FACT and will never wither away, even when this world does.

Reflection Questions

  1. Have you allowed the world’s opinions to shape how you see yourself?
  2. Have you accidentally put limits on God and what he wants to do through you?
  3. How can you accurately see yourself the way HE see’s you?
  4. How does accurately seeing yourself as a coheir of Christ, seated in heavenly places, effect your everyday life?

Why Are You Attacking Me? -A Different Perspective On Spiritual Warfare

When I was reading The Hannah Anointing, there was something that the author said that stood out to me so profound that I sat my book down, adjusted myself in my chair, and began to pray. (You can see the review here: https://letlovebemymotive.com/2020/01/02/the-hannah-anointing-michelle-mcclain-walters-book-review/ ) She mentioned that sometimes she steps back and observes the areas that the devil is attacking her in. Now I have heard of taking every thought captive and making them obedient to Christ. However, I have never thought about observing the devils behaviors the way that he does ours.

As you may have noticed, there was a long period of time (it felt like forever) where I was not writing as much. I did a devotional here and there and posted some scripture, but there were not many posts or book reviews. I am sorry for this. During those times the Lord is refining me or teaching me something new. I do not want to fail to mention how much I appreciate you being here with me on this adventure called life!

On the Lord’s commands I have quit my job and am doing the only things he has commanded me to do, pray and to write. Now, even before I left my job the devil was on the prowl and trying to plant seeds of worry and doubt. He began with “Was I really hearing from God to quit my job?”. I began to pray and ask God to show me again what his will was. Thank you Abba for your patience! God showed me, yet again, it was his will for me to quit.

Then as I became confident and filled with faith, the devil started to prowl once again. “Are you sure you are going to be able to pay your bills? You know you made so much money. How can you even be sure God is going to provide? You can’t see it”. Well Lucifer, you see God’s word says that he would open the flood gates of heaven and pour out a blessing there is not room enough to receive. You see he gave me this word and the only thing he said was wildflower and when I looked up where that was in God’s word he reminded me yet again that he is my provider and I have nothing to worry about.

Then the Lord had me shift my focus from worry back unto him where I found peace. God then reminded me that our words have power! He told me to declare what I was believing him for. Possiblities are endless with him! So as I was going to the mail box that morning, I was reminded of a time where my friend was solely relying on God’s provision and she asked him for a check in the mail and he sent her just that. As I was walking out I started to declare the Lord’s provision for my family. Mind you, the devil has been trying to plant seeds of doubt about God’s provision THE ENTIRE TIME. I walk out to the mail box and see the Lord’s provision waiting in our mail box. GLORY BE TO GOD!

As I said above, the Lord had me quit my job and only gave me two directions, to pray and to write. So, as he has asked me to do, I have done just that. As I began to write yesterday, I went over my article at least 5 times to make sure everything was correct. This already is abnormal behavior for me. Then as I was reading it for the last time, I was tempted to not even send it in to the magazine. Then the Holy Spirit gently reminded me of what the author of Hannah’s Anointing said.

Why is the devil attacking me right now?

Despite the doubt and fear I was feeling I sent it into the editor. Usually the emails are brief, but what I found in my inbox was quite the surprise. The editor wrote back thanking me, saying that she loved what I wrote and she needed what was written.

So was THIS why he was attacking me?

Over the past couple days I have been taught to step back and look at the pattern of the enemy. His tricks and deceptive ways are not new. He uses the same evil tactics over and over. He is trying to discourage us and trap us in fear to stop us from doing what God has called us to do. He is the BEST liar. He can have you thinking the worst! But, what we need to do is to step back and ask Holy Spirit for help in these moments. Every single time that I have asked for help, he has met me there in my weakness with his strength. In the moments I have been attacked the most, there was a blessing on the other side or the enemy was trying to stop me from doing EXACTLY what God had intended me to do.

God is faithful, gentle, and patient. He is willing to help us when we ask. I want to encourage you to interrogate why the enemy is trying to attack you. What does God have for you in this area of your life?

Let My Words Reflect You (Devotional)

The more I spend time in communion with God, the more I realize just how powerful the words we speak are and what we do on a daily basis is not meaningless even when it may seem trivial. God, let our lives be an offering of worship to you today and everyday.

•Prayer•

Holy Spirit I thank you for being such a great help, the perfect helper for me.
I pray that you help me work wholeheartedly unto God and not for man and let the words of my mouth edify and impart grace to those who hear. Forgive me for the times I have missed the mark. Let me no longer be a stumbling block to anyone, but let my life be an offering to bring the lost back to you and those who know you even closer.
In Jesus Name,
AMEN!

Are You Sure God? (Devotional)

I replied, “But my work seems so useless! I have spent my strength for nothing and to no purpose. Yet I leave it all in the Lord ’s hand; I will trust God for my reward.”
Isaiah 49:4 NLT

I am in a season where I cannot understand any of the commandments God has given me. Not a single one. There seems to be no logical reason why he has me staying where I am. In this season I feel that what I’m doing has no purpose, the hard work and dedication I have is unnoticed, and I have become more weary as time goes on. “God are you sure you want me here?”

Everytime I have asked hebresponds with yes. The things God tells you to do are not going to be logical when he is supernatural. But, when you know that HE is good and is FOR you, you can trust in his commands even when they are uncomfortable, painful, and do not make any sense sense. While I feel that all the hard work I have put in has went unnoticed, God has simply reminded me that praise and reward come from him.

If you don’t understand what is going on or why God has you in this place, understand that his intentions are always good. Man may not see the tears you have cried, the hard work and dedication you have put in, or the prayers and praise you have spoken…but God has never taken his focus off of you.

It takes faith and endurance to stay where God has you in a season of trials. But, his promises remind us that the suffering now does not even compare to the glory that is coming!

Be encouraged that he hears your every prayer and is working on your behalf. God is for you and in his timing you will see his beautiful plan amongst the suffering you once endured. He is faithful to his word, without fail he will rescue you, his promises shall come to pass.
