Why Let Love Be My Motive Art?

God makes everything beautiful in it’s time. He brings dead things to life and makes messes into a masterpiece. Let Love Be My Motive’s Art is born from His creativity. I use dead flowers, stains, candle wax, and end up with something beautiful. I pray that this art is not something you just hang on the wall. But, it is a reflection of how God view’s you, a masterpiece. Each piece has scripture from recycled Bible’s. I pray that you tuck his word in your heart and carry it with you through each moment when things get messy. Remember, He is making something beautiful. All funds for Let Love Be My Motive Art will continue the things God is doing at Let Love Be My Motive. My prayer is to continue to give out free content. Through each purchase of art, this will give me the ability to pour back into other ministries, those in need, and expand into hosting free events. This art and photography is a form of worship to the Lord that I have truly enjoyed. I am really looking forward to seeing what God is going to continue to do in and through Let Love Be My Motive. He has blown me away these past couple years when it was just ‘speak life a blog’. Thank you again for all your love and support over the years. It is my prayer that this is more than just art but it brings you closer to God. I pray that this is more than just photography, that you see His love through each photography. I pray that Let Love Be My Motive has brought you to love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. To love your neighbor as yourself and set your soul on fire for the Kingdom of God.

The Crack In Lady Liberty

I was given a dream that the statue of liberty was cracked, specifically on her face.
The statue of liberty represents freedom all over the world. Lady Liberty is also is very known for being known for being ‘American Liberty lighting the world’.

Woe to us who believe that a United Nation could stand under anything but God’s Holy Name. Woe to us for believing in political agendas rather than seating God on his rightful throne. Woe to the United States for its literal golden calf idols of greed on wall street, the shedding of innocent blood of the unborn, and perverness like Sodom and Gomorrah.
Don’t you a divided house cannot stand?

•And he called them to him and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end. But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. Then indeed he may plunder his house. “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin” —
Mark 3:23‭-‬29 ESV

My friends God IS merciful and graceful. But he is also fully JUST. In order to recieve Mercy and Grace must we not come boldly before the throne to recieve it?

•Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
Hebrews 4:16 AMPC

Let us come to God and ask Him to search our hearts. We must come before Him with a pure heart and clean hands. In order for healing to come in our land, it must first come in our hearts. I heard it once said, ‘Repentance is not a dirty word.’ When we turn away from our wickedness and the decitfulness of our own hearts, He is faithful to not only hear our cries but act on them.

•if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.
II Chronicles 7:14‭-‬15 NKJV

•“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord , search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah 17:9‭-‬10 NKJV

•Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalms 139:23‭-‬24 NKJV

•Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Psalms 51:10 NKJV

Leaving Worldly Distractions and Embracing Purpose

I am sorry that I have not wrote in a while. In all honesty, there has been a lesson in the midst of my absence. I have been feeding myself with so much media rather than that Word of God at one point it was hard to think straight. (YIKES!) I have allowed the world to come invade my mind and preoccupy me where I have been distracted, so distracted. For this I not only apologize to you but I repent to our heavenly Father.

However, the time was not wasted. It taught me quite a few things. One of the first being, how important it is to feed ourselves and meditate on the Word of God. The Lord put it this way to me, “Be the light and log off”. As the end of time draws closer and closer each day, there will be more and more people who will not understand what we are saying. We cannot make someone see if they have scales upon their eyes. Only God can make those scales fall off. However, when we do see things that grieve our heart, this is the perfect time to head to the war room and get on our knee’s before the Lord. There is a great reward for those who retreat to the secret place.

“But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” -Matthew 6:6 NLT

God is the only one that can soften a heart and make blind eyes to see. But, when you proclaim the gospel, do not feel that it is wasted time. The Lord reminded me of this today.

For you yourselves know, brothers and sisters, that our visit with you was not without result. On the contrary, after we had previously suffered and were treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, we were emboldened by our God to speak the gospel of God to you in spite of great opposition.” 1 Thessalonians 2:1-2 CSB

Not only did Paul recognize that what he spoke and taught was never wasted. He understood that even in great opposition, God is the one who makes us bold and courageous as lions (Proverbs 28:1). As time goes on, there is going to be more opposition against those who preach the Word of God. I am not saying this to be a debbie downer, it is what the Word of God says. However, this does not mean that we as those who truly walk as Jesus has walked to step back and be quiet. What hope is there besides the Word of God? Everything but the Word of God will wither away. It is our responsibility to be good stewards of the Gospel.

For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.” 1 Thessalonians 2:4 NLT

Never forget, our Lord Jesus Christ knows what is like to be rejected for walking in (being) the truth. He is not one that does not sympathize with that either. He knows, so do not be scared to let him know what is going on in that heart of yours. He knows your thoughts even before you speak them (Psalm 139:4).

Last but not least;

When you speak the truth, God’s Word, and are rejected, do not let the opposition stop you. I do encourage you to always go before God and make sure that you are saying things from a pure heart. There is life and death in the power of our tongue. We must be careful to speak the truth in love, or else we are only a clanging cymbal. I encourage you to cut the distractions and get back to the heart of the Father. Know if you missed the mark, you are not alone I did too. Thankfully for us, his arms are always open and ready to meet us right where we are.

Flaws Met With God’s Strength (Devotional)

Often satan will try to point out your “flaws” in hopes you will be so ashamed that you never mention them or see them as so bad that no good can come out of them. He is such a liar!! I was always called and accused of being over-emotional. But when God met me where I was at with his supernatural strength, everything changed. God spoke that my ‘crazy emotions’ when being used for his glory are called passion and compassion. In your weaknesses you are fused with God’s strength, so even the accused flaws are used for the good and glory of God!
Be unashamed of the darkness God has brought you out of. People need your testimony and to see the living power of Jesus Christ.
What is the devil pointing tonas a flaw that God says is actually a strength? Who can you share your testimony with today?

But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power.
2 Corinthians 12:9‭-‬10 TPT

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Revelation 12:11 NKJV

Mike Glenn put’s wears his heart on his sleeve and makes you laugh and cry with Coffee With Mom. I do not have a parent who has suffered with dementia but I know that this testimony is great. Coffee With Mom is a continual reminder that you are not alone in this hard journey. I appreciate this book so much that I will be passing it on to another person the Lord has directed me to (so he must appreciate it too). The rawness and transparency of this book is appreciated. I do not ever believe that Mike believed this book would even happen. He was just trying to make light of a hard time. However, I know this book will help so many!
